Tulane is one of two joint commission certified comprehensive stroke centers in the state that has special capabilities to handle all stroke patients to ensure the best possible outcome.

Tulane’s spine program performed the first robotic spine surgery in the region, and is one of a select few national teaching and observation sites for physicians, under the expertise of Spine Program Director Dr. Chris Maulucci.
