Biography
Dr. John Freiberg is board certified in Neurology and Vascular Neurology, and serves as Stroke Director for Lakeview Regional Medical Center and Interim Chair of Neurology. Dr. Freiberg is also an Assistant Professor of Neurology.
Dr. Freiberg’s interests include stroke and hospital based neurology. Dr. Freiberg was in private practice for 13 years and served as Medical Director for West Jefferson Medical Center’s Stroke Unit from 2006 to 2012. He was also the Director of Tulane’s Neurology Residency Program, Director of Tulane’s Neurology Vascular Fellowship Program, and the Tulane Hospital Stroke Director.
Dr. Freiberg’s education includes an internship at Rhode Island Hospital /Brown University School of Medicine from 1991-1992, and a residency in Neurology at Tulane University School of Medicine from 1992-1995.
